The JAXA Venture can conduct business using the intellectual property and knowledge of JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), and we have been able to challenge space business mainly by applying the technology of penetrators, a type of intrusive planetary exploration vehicle.
The research and development of the penetrator has been pursued for over 30 years by Dr. Tanaka and the pioneers at the Space Science Laboratory as a uniquely advanced technology. With this recent certification, we can utilize the technology we have cultivated so far to contribute to the people of Japan and the world as a part of the space business.
Currently, NASA is leading the development of the lunar orbiting human outpost project “Gateway,” and I am confident that once this project is completed, the penetrator will surely have its time to shine in planetary exploration. (This is because it can solve many challenges from a different perspective, from the lunar orbit to the lunar surface.)
Until then, I intend to build connections, funding, and experience through space business to prepare for the day when the penetrator will spearhead exploration at the forefront of planetary exploration.
For now, I will focus on solving issues related to real estate on Earth.
